The Center for Health Law and Policy Innovation (CHLPI) is happy to welcome Maryanne Tomazic to the team as a Clinical Fellow!
Maryanne graduated from Boston University School of Law in 2017, serving as the Editor-in-Chief of the American Journal of Law & Medicine. She completed a health law concentration with honors.
Prior to law school, Maryanne was the Field Coordinator for Raising Women’s Voices for the Health Care We Need. She provided strategic guidance to state advocates regarding how implementation of the Affordable Care Act could address the health needs of women, women of color, and the LGBT community. Maryanne also served as an elected Board of Education official for the Freehold Regional High School District in Englishtown, NJ.
Maryanne received a Master of Public Health degree from Columbia University in 2011, where she studied the history and ethics of public health. In 2009, she graduated from Swarthmore College with a B.A. in Biology.
